Enviromental Tutorial

Hello everyone,

We would like to introduce you to the environmental tutorial. We are often associated with waste separation in the student village. If you already have a small green compost bin, for example, that is thanks to us. We also provide paper compost bags free of charge. We also manage the battery collection box. In addition, we sell local honey produced by the ATW dormitory at cost price.

We manage a small experimental garden where ideas can be implemented fairly freely. There is usually money available for projects, as well as tools and the space to put your gardening ideas into practice.

We have a Signal garden group and can be reached via our email umwelt@dorfgoe.de .

To complete the tutorial, you need to have an interest in sustainability. An interest in nature can also be helpful, as it allows you to implement the most exciting ideas. Whether it's sowing wildflower meadows, building a hedgehog station, pruning fruit bushes, or mowing with a scythe, these and many other things can be done in the garden.

Birdhouses can be installed outside the garden. Fruit tree care is also an issue, as some of the fruit trees are infested with mistletoe. Nature tours and assistance with problems with indoor plants are other topics that interest us.

During the week, we work approximately 2.5 hours for the tutorial, but this may be more depending on whether there are specific activities. For each semester of service, you receive one additional semester of free accommodation. The money is paid at the end of the semester and amounts to approximately 26€ per month. You simply have to apply for the position, and the applicant can then be elected at a village meeting (DV). There are also spontaneous applications that are submitted at the DV.
